Short description: During course realisation subjects of broadly defined classical genetics will be discussed.
Full description: Course contents: Genetic determination of the characteristics of the animal, inheritance and variability of quantitative and qualitative factors, mutagenic, classical genetics, general and molecular animals, introduction to population genetics and genomics.

Learning outcomes: Knowledge: W1 - student knows the basic rights and issues of the basics of genetics, including cytogenetics, genetics, gender molding process, the development of genetics and population genetics and quantitative traits Skills: U1- student is able to analyze and interpret genetic phenomena and issues related to Mendelian inheritance (also in terms of the characteristics of conjugated and sex-linked traits), autosomal and conjugated traits
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: Completion of the course:students holding a valid pass a written exam exercises showing the open issues to be addressed in the examination session. If the exam will not be counted for the first time the student has the right to seem him again within a bugfix.
